Senior Bridge Inspection Team Leader
We are seeking a Senior Bridge Inspection Team Leader with 5 to 10 years of experience in the inspection, evaluation, and load rating of vehicular bridges for various local, county, state, and federal clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, schedule, and lead bridge inspections in accordance with NBIS and AASHTO standards.
  • Review existing bridge file documentation and create reports to present findings and recommendations.
  • Perform engineering calculations for bridge load ratings and repair designs.
  • Perform construction engineering services.
  • Mentor junior staff and ensure safety compliance during field operations.
  •  

Position Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly related to technical topics.
  • Willing to travel up to 40% of the time, nationally.

Senior Load Rating Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Load Rating Engineer with 8 to 15 years of experience in the structural analysis, load rating, and evaluation of vehicular bridges for various local, county, state, and federal clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as Engineer-of-Record for complex load ratings and structural evaluations.
  • Lead the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) process for load rating calculations.
  • Perform advanced structural analysis using finite element modeling (FEM) for complex bridges.
  • Manage load rating projects, task orders, and budgets.
  • Mentor junior engineers in analysis techniques and software applications.
  • Coordinate with inspection teams to correlate field conditions with analytical models.
  •  

Position Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain licensure in other states through comity.

We are seeking a Lead Underwater Bridge Inspector with 10+ years of experience in the underwater inspection, scour evaluation, and condition assessment of bridges and marine structures for various local, county, state, and federal clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and supervise underwater bridge inspection teams, including commercial divers and support personnel.
  • Plan, organize, and execute underwater bridge inspections and scour evaluations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to OSHA commercial diving regulations, dive-safety protocols, and safety checklists.
  • Develop dive plans, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and site-specific health and safety plans.

Intern Bridge Inspection and Load Rating
We are seeking an Intern Bridge Inspection and Load Rating with a desire to inspect, load rate, and analyze vehicular bridges for various local, county, state, and federal clients. Successful candidates will desire to get their hands dirty while applying their engineering knowledge to real-world issues found at structures.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the review of existing bridge file documentation, plans, and analyses.
  • Assist during field inspections and create reports to present findings and recommendations.
  • Perform structural analyses to determine safe load carrying capacities.
  • Assist in the development of bridge rehabilitation design, plans, and specifications.
  •  

Position Requirements:
  • Enrolled in an accredited engineering program pursuing degree in civil/structural engineering.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly related to technical topics.
  • Physically capable of performing all field work tasks, including climbing, carrying heavy equipment, etc.
  •  

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (structural focus) in pursuit of a master’s degree.
  • Willing to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time during internship, nationally.
  • Engineer-in-training certification with ability to obtain professional licensure within four years.
