ALDOT Duncan Bridge Rehabilitation (2022)

Strinteg was contracted by The Alabama Department of Transportation to perform a rehabilitation design of the Duncan Bridge in Winston County, Alabama based upon findings from the 2020 condition assessment inspection completed by Strinteg’s engineers. Work primarily consisted of structural strengthening retrofits and painting of all structural steel. Strinteg is currently providing construction engineering services during the ongoing rehabilitation of the bridge. This two-lane, five span bridge includes a three-span continuous Warren through truss spanning 961 feet over the Smith Lake Reservoir.
