Anthony has spent the last 15 years dedicated exclusively to the maintenance of existing bridges throughout the United States. He has performed or supervised thousands of inspections, hundreds of load ratings and refined analyses, and is engineer-of-record for a number of complex bridge rehabilitation projects. Anthony has served as project manager, task leader, and lead inspector for numerous in-depth and fracture critical inspection projects of varying sizes and structure types, including high level steel girder, steel truss, cable-stayed, and concrete segmental box girder structures; and bridges requiring rope access and industrial climbing techniques. His rehabilitation and complex analysis has centered around three-dimensional finite element modeling to determine causes and repair schemes for complex problems found at bridges, primarily related to fatigue cracks. His clients have ranged from public to private sector entities, including numerous state departments of transportation, city and county engineers, national railroads, and all branches of the armed services. Anthony employs a pragmatic approach to engineering challenges – relying on sound engineering judgement and emphasizing simple solutions today over costly efforts in the future.
Anthony’s primary roles include steering the overall firm and positioning Strinteg to be a trusted advisor for our clients. His primary focus is to invest in hiring/retaining quality engineers with a shared vision of greatness, increase backlog, foster mentorship and team-building, and ensure our operations are efficient – free of unnecessary overhead expenses.
