Strinteg welcomes Donald Cartwright, PE serving as Bridge Inspection & Rehabilitation Manager for the firm, based in Cleveland, OH. Donald brings over a decade of experience including leadership roles in some of the most complex bridge inspection, analysis, rehabilitation, and design-build projects in the country. His work has focused on signature structures, including cable-stayed (Margaret Hunt Hill, Talmadge Memorial, Sidney Lanier, and Indian River Inlet), movable, high level steel girder, fracture critical box cap, suspension, segmental concrete box girder, large truss, rail, and other difficult access bridges. In addition, he has designed repairs and retrofits for a variety of structure types and has served as engineer-of-record for new bridge designs including design-build projects. His analysis experience includes detailed three-dimensional finite element modeling to determine causes and repair alternatives for complex problems found at bridges. He is a Level II rope access technician certified through the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT).
