Strinteg welcomes Keith Ramsey, PE serving as Senior Structural Engineer & Senior Vice President for the firm, based in Austin, TX. Keith brings over 36 years of experience in bridge inspection, evaluation, maintenance, and construction. He spent 31 years with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), including 10 years as Field Operations Section Director – managing the operations of the bridge construction and maintenance, inspection, and geotechnical branches of the Bridge Division. Prior to his Section Director role, Keith was State Bridge Inspection Engineer, overseeing the daily operations of the TxDOT Bridge Division’s Inspection Branch. Throughout his career, Keith has been heavily involved with national organizations to advance the fields of bridge management, evaluation, and rehabilitation – namely serving as the Texas representative for the Southeast Bridge Preservation Partnership, Federal Highway Administration Long-Term Bridge Performance Program, and the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Subcommittee on Bridge and Structures as a member of T-18. Since leaving TxDOT, he has served as a subject matter expert for a number of long-span bridge inspection, assessment, and asset management projects throughout the country.
In his role with Strinteg, Keith will serve as a technical expert for our bridge inspection, assessment, and maintenance projects throughout the country with emphasis on our growing presence in Texas.
