Strinteg has been re-selected for a 4-year, up to $12 million contract to perform non-redundant steel tension member (NSTM) bridge inspections for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). This project will consist of inspecting and load rating NSTM bridges and elements in various districts throughout the State. Over the last four years, Strinteg’s team has inspected over 1,400 NSTMs for TxDOT (650+ plate and box caps, 670+ girder spans, 29 trusses, and 5 movable bridges) along with 5 tunnels and two cable-stayed bridges. Proper hands-on access will be achieved using a combination of aerial lift equipment, climbing, and rope access. We are honored to be re-selected and rank first among four teams to assist TxDOT in this meaningful effort.
