Strinteg has been selected for a 4-year, up to $5 million contract to perform bridge assessment and preservation engineering services for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). This project may consist of a wide variety of condition assessment and preservation efforts involving various maintenance and repair actions to extend the life of TxDOT’s bridges. Bridge condition assessments may include both common and specialized structures – including unconventional means of access. Sounding, visual observation, non-destructive testing techniques, load testing, material sampling and testing may be utilized to validate causes and extent of deterioration. We are honored to be selected and rank first among five teams to assist TxDOT in this meaningful effort.
